In the UK, The front windscreen must allow a minimum of 75% of light in at all times. The front side and passenger windows must allow at least 70% in.
The rear windows and boot window can legally be as dark as you prefer.
You will be able to choose from an array of shades when you come.
Yes, the tint is always placed on the inside. You will see us making the precuts on the outside but the final installation is placed on the inside of the vehicle.
TTS The Tint Shop is not an express service as we prefer to get your services done right the first time. As much as we do our best to keep projects on schedule, there are times in which unforeseen issues arise which may delay a completion of a project.
We are an appointment only service provider to ensure we allocate an appropriate amount of time per project. Last minute cancellations do happen sometimes, but we cannot guarantee a day-of appointment.

The tint film will not interfere with your heated rear screen. It will merely assist in heating a larger area of your screen, and your heated rear elements will not interfere with the film, it will only help drying time initially by leaving it switched on.
Yes, however the tint film is designed not to come off easily and uses high quality adhesives to ensure a strong bond to the glass. It is best removed by a professional with the correct equipment and technique so as not to leave adhesive residue behind, or damage any heating elements on rear windows.
No. If you know you want your vehicle tinted but are not sure of which tint shade, you are welcome to make a booking & decide when you drop the vehicle off. We have usually got a range of vehicles with different window tinting film on them to help you select the right shade for you & your vehicle.
From our own experience in learning to tint, we would advise you that it would cost thousands of pounds in film wastage and lot of hours spent with the need to be installing film on a daily basis before reaching an acceptable standard, let alone our standards. There is also a high risk of causing damage to your car which would leave you punishing yourself for days when you realise you have taken the most expensive option with results that you would not be satisfied with. (We are experienced in tinting many makes and models of vehicles and we ensure you a first class finish).
We will only remove door trims and windows when necessary and are comfortable to do so. Newer techniques has made it easier to tint windows without taking off door panels. Door panels are removed when necessary to release the internal window seal. This is the case in at least 50% of all installations, to minimise the risk of creasing the film and risking getting dirt infection.
Although not as 'hard as glass' as the saying goes, the film is purpose made and very durable, but it will get marked more easily than glass. Care should be taken cleaning the film, and no harsh abrasives or chemical should be used
Yes, we offer manufacturer warranties on our window tinting service from peeling, bubbling or purpling. Which is typically 5 years.
